Morgan Dean

Program Director, Native American Housing Development

Morgan Dean is the program director of Native American housing development with Enterprise Community Partners. Morgan was born and raised in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, learning at an early age the value of place, home, and community. She has worked in the many levels of keeping people housed, from providing direct services to households experiencing instability, to development and rehabilitation of units, and eventually data analysis and policy design. In 2019, Morgan graduated from Virginia Tech with a master of public administration with a concentration in economic development. Since then, Morgan has supported the initiation of housing and social service programming for a tribe in Virginia that recently gained federal recognition. At Enterprise, Morgan is working to support the success of our Tribal nations and rural communities across the United States, ensuring that our obligations to the federal trust responsibility are met through nation-to-nation relationships that respect the sovereignty of the communities who originally stewarded this land.
