Elizabeth Horen Geisler
Elizabeth Horen Geisler is a senior program officer with Enterprise Green Communities, the only national green building program designed explicitly for the affordable housing sector. Her work supports the creation and preservation of healthy, sustainable and affordable housing across the county. Elizabeth coordinates day-to-day operations for the program and works closely with affordable housing developers and owners pursuing Enterprise Green Communities certification.
Elizabeth’s enthusiasm for quality, resident-centered housing is directly related to her prior work in the affordable housing sector, largely focused on serving unhoused residents in Washington, DC. Elizabeth has spent her career managing complex projects, navigating bureaucratic systems, and working with customers.
Elizabeth has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Beloit College and a master’s in urban and city planning from the Pratt Institute.
