Erika Thomas
Erika Thomas serves as the associate director of state and local policy in the Tennessee market. In this role, she collaborates with state and local government officials, community stakeholders, and business leaders to advance Enterprise’s Southeast policy agenda.
She brings a wealth of experience in advocacy, government affairs, public affairs and policy experience to her role, previously serving as the associate director of member engagement at the Tennessee Medical Association where she led the development of policy resources and advocacy efforts on state issues impacting physicians and patients. Prior to that, she worked at Capitol & 5th Public Strategies, a Nashville-based government affairs firm, to support policy priorities for an array of clients in the health and human services industries.
In addition to her professional experience, Erika is passionate about volunteering her time and experiences to non-profits in the Nashville area. She previously served as board president of the Tennessee Caregiver Coalition, an organization dedicated to supporting, advocating for, and providing relief to family caregivers across Tennessee.
Erika is a graduate of Murray State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations. In 2023, she obtained her Master of Public Administration from Northeastern University.
