Joseph Jones
Joseph Jones brings over 13 years of experience in the LIHTC industry. He comes to Enterprise following his position as director of investor relations at AEP, a state and federal tax credit syndicator based in Columbia, Missouri. Before his tenure at AEP, Joseph was vice president of investment syndication at PNC Bank. In this capacity, he was responsible for raising, underwriting, conducting due diligence, and deploying equity capital across the nation in both multi and proprietary LIHTC equity funds.
Prior to PNC, Joseph served as vice president of equity capital for Cinnaire and director of equity funds for the Virginia Community Development Corporation (VCDC), both nonprofit tax credit syndicators working in the Mid-Atlantic and across the Midwest. Within these organizations, he was responsible for raising, structuring, underwriting, and managing tax credit investments, including a portfolio encompassing LIHTC, federal and state historic, new markets, and energy credit investment equity funds.
Joseph has served as the president of the board of directors for the Virginia Housing Alliance (VHA), a prominent organization dedicated to advocacy, training, and policy formulation in the field. Furthermore, he actively contributes to the Hanover & King William Habitat for Humanity as a member of their board of directors. Joseph has also participated in the housing workgroup of the Capital Region Collaborative and was a member of the 2017 class of Leadership Metro Richmond. Additionally, he successfully completed the Political Leadership Program at UVA's Sorensen Institute in 2018.
Joseph resides in Richmond, Virginia, with his wife and two young children. When he’s not chasing around two toddlers, he enjoys staying active by running, swimming, playing mediocre tennis, and coaching for a youth wrestling league. Joseph holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Radford University.
