Katie Porter

Katie Porter is a director of acquisitions at Enterprise Housing Credit Investments. She is responsible for originating Low-Income Housing Tax Credit transactions in Maryland; Virginia; Washington, D.C.; and North and South Carolina. In this role, she collaborates with developers to structure deals yielding maximum proceeds for the transaction. She regularly works with Enterprise’s broad range of affordable housing and community development tools, including Bellwether Enterprise mortgage financing, the Enterprise Community Loan Fund, grants, and technical assistance.

Katie has 14-plus years of experience in affordable housing and real estate development. While at Enterprise, she underwrote more than $450 million in equity investments to create more than 3,275 homes. Prior to Enterprise, she held director and management positions for an affordable housing developer in Seattle, Washington.

She holds a master’s degree from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University.
