Shivali Gowda
Shivali Gowda is a resilience fellow at Enterprise Community Partners. In this role, she works on planning and executing Enterprise’s Climate Resilience Academies, which focus on assessing portfolio risk, implementing climate resilience strategies, accessing and applying to funding, developing business continuity plans, and discussing decarbonization and insurance policies. Shivali also works on executing resilience capacity grants for affordable housing developers and tracks and coordinates the dollars of applicable Inflation Reduction Act funds.
Shivali has experience working in local government on clean energy, environmental, and economic development programs. She has conducted research on energy retrofits in multi-family affordable housing and the role of community-based organizations in solar energy deployment.
Shivali holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a minor in public affairs from the University of California, Los Angeles and a master of city planning from MIT. She lives in New York City and enjoys cooking, concerts, racquet sports, biking, and reading.
