It felt so good to hold our 2022 Soiree by the Bay with more than 170 people at the beautiful Chase Center. After canceling in 2020 and hosting a very scaled-down event in 2021, we were thrilled to bring our partners, supporters, friends and familia together.
A very special thank you to the Golden State Warriors for making the evening extra special and fun by loaning us three championship trophies, giving us basketballs signed by Andrew Wiggins, t-shirts, and having Kelenna Azubuike in person!
Our honorees – the Unity Council, Ruby Bolaria Shifrin and Therese McMillan – brought so much heart and meaning to the evening’s program. We were honored to have them recognized for their bold contributions to our field.
