Capacity-Building Cohort Explores New Models in the Mississippi Delta and the Gulf Coast
The Mountain, Tribal and Rural team and Enterprise's Gulf Coast team led a road trip through Louisiana and Mississippi with CDCB. They visited project sites and held workshop discussions with cohort members on how to culturally introduce the MiCASita home grow model to their communities, and how this model should be scaled on a collaborative basis.

Bogulasa Rebirth Sells First Home Using Home Funds
Bogulasa Rebirth recently purchased their first HOME funded CHDO homeownership unit with the help of a recent capacity building grant from Enterprise. An advocate to advance racial equity, their mission is to utilize HUD HOME funding to develop affordable housing and to offer low to moderate income potential homebuyers financial counseling and coaching.

Maintaining Cultural Heritage While Creating Economic Opportunity
The Southern Rural Black Women's Initiative, works to lift women out of poverty through the promotion of asset building skills, cooperative networks, and investment in small local and regional businesses. They have identified culturally relevant crops and worked to identify cultural heritage sites while simultaneously creating economic opportunity for women in the Mississippi Delta region.
