Hub expert Alisa Peterson is a manager on RMI’s federal policy team, handling its buildings, transportation, and electricity portfolio. Over the last few years, she has been working with policymakers to encourage impactful design of the Inflation Reduction Act before and after it passed. Now that the IRA is largely designed, her focus is on supporting subnational uptake of the legislation through education and outreach. Her background is in building engineering and breaking down policy and market barriers using technoeconomic analysis.
