Esther Toporovsky is executive director of Community Sustainability Partners, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sustainable community development. Formally, Toporovsky served as executive vice president at the NYC Housing Partnership. Esther created a subsidiary, HP Sustainability, as an arm of Housing Partnership to work directly with developer partners, public agencies, and banks to meet ambitious climate goals in New York. Esther previously served as senior program director, Enterprise Green Communities, at Enterprise. Toporovsky earned an M.S. in Urban Policy and Management from Milano, the New School University, and a B.A. and certificate in Environmental Studies from Eugene Lang College and Columbia University.
