Leveraging the IRA: Transforming the Market for Equitable Building Decarbonization

This paper provides 14 recommendations to maximize the building decarbonization, health, and equity benefits made possible through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). The paper highlights that it is important for the IRA to create market change and prioritize equity and be more than a one-time infusion of funding. It also includes lessons learned from the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009 (ARRA).
