COLUMBIA, Md. (April 23, 2020) – Enterprise Community Partners (Enterprise) announced today the promotion of Senior Vice President Stephanie Shack to the organization’s first-ever Chief Legal Officer (CLO) position, overseeing legal and compliance operations across Enterprise’s entities nationwide.
“Stephanie is a seasoned lawyer who brings deep knowledge of Enterprise and legal expertise to our senior leadership team,” said Priscilla Almodovar, chief executive officer at Enterprise. “With the creation of this new CLO role, we have centralized expertise and insight that will be vital as we complete our Strategic Plan.”
Shack’s appointment to CLO follows Enterprise’s recent decision to combine the legal departments of Enterprise Community Investment (ECI) and Enterprise Community Partners into one. Shack joined Enterprise in 2017 as senior vice president and general counsel for ECI, prior to which she was senior vice president, associate general counsel and assistant secretary with Corporate Office Properties Trust, a publicly traded real estate investment trust. Previously, she held positions at the Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation, the global law firm DLA Piper and the office of U.S. Magistrate Judge John E. Dougherty. Stephanie graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis and received her J.D. with distinction from Emory University School of Law.
“For the past three years, I have had the privilege of working alongside highly intelligent, motivated and compassionate colleagues who are fully invested in the work we do,” said Stephanie Shack. “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead our legal team and support Enterprise’s work in communities nationwide.”
