COLUMBIA, Md. (April 23, 2020) – Enterprise Community Partners (Enterprise) announced today the hire of Angelique Kelly-Lara as Chief People Officer (CPO). A senior leader at the organization, Kelly-Lara will be responsible for all human resource services, including acquisition strategies that attract top, diverse talent, career development and the HR business partner team, which ensures that HR policies fit the organization’s needs and objectives.

Kelly-Lara joins Enterprise with more than 25 years of experience directing HR teams at some of the world’s largest corporations. Most recently, she was vice president of global talent acquisition at Choice Hotels International, where she oversaw Choice’s global talent acquisition department and was responsible for developing and implementing new hiring strategies to support the company’s corporate direction. From 2005-2014 at McDonald’s USA, she worked her way up to director of U.S. HR and employee relations. Earlier in her career, she held similar positions at Aramark Corporation and Bankers Life and Casualty Company.

In 2019, Kelly-Lara was recognized as an HR Leader of the Year by DCA Live. She has served on a number of corporate and community boards, including for the Northern Virginia and DC Ronald McDonald House and the Center for New Horizons. Kelly-Lara holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kansas and an MBA in human resource management from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
