We are thrilled to announce the second round of grantees utilizing the King County PSTAA General Child Care Facilities Funds. These funds aim to expand and strengthen the early learning system in King County, Washington, by providing predevelopment, renovation, and construction grants to center-based (not home-based) early learning providers and organizations.
Nearly $2.7 million was awarded to 11 different organizations which included emerging providers and organizations, co-location of affordable housing, and early learning spaces. These awards will support the creation of 55 new classrooms and over 880 new child care slots for children and families throughout King County.
