Atlanta, GA (January 14, 2025) – Enterprise Community Partners, one of the nation’s largest affordable housing nonprofits, today announced the appointment of Dr. Christie Cade as Vice President of the Southeast Market, effective January 27.

In this role, Dr. Cade will lead Enterprise's efforts across Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee, focused on delivering critically needed capital and resources to expand affordable housing and community development capacity in the region. This includes coordinating investment to support housing production, providing training and technical assistance to support preservation and faith-based development, and advocating for housing policies at the state and local levels.

"Dr. Cade’s wealth of experience and deep commitment to affordable housing and community development make her a terrific addition to our team as we broaden and deepen our work in the region," said Meaghan Vlkovic, senior vice president of solutions, Enterprise Community Partners and former vice president for the Southeast Market. "With her proven leadership and strategic vision, we are excited about the opportunities ahead as she drives our mission forward in the Southeast Market."

Prior to joining Enterprise, Dr. Cade served as Regional Vice President for the Southern Region at NeighborWorks America, where she directed financial and technical services across 13 states and the District of Columbia. Her work advanced affordable housing, community development, homeownership promotion and preservation, and lending in both urban and rural communities. She also led regional initiatives focused on community trauma and disaster recovery.

A seasoned housing leader with her roots in greater Atlanta community, Dr. Cade's previous roles include Senior Manager of Housing Development for the Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership and Assistant Director of Housing for the State of Georgia's Housing Finance Agency, where she administered state and federal low-income housing tax credits and other financing programs. Dr. Cade also serves on several regional advisory committees and boards, including the HouseATL Advisory Committee, Georgia Advancing Communities Together Board of Directors, Emory University Board of Visitors, and Gateway Regional Council Board of Directors.

"I am honored to join Enterprise Community Partners and lead the Southeast Market at such a pivotal time," said Dr. Cade. "I look forward to collaborating with our partners to create and preserve more affordable homes for families, seniors, and veterans while strengthening communities across the region."

Dr. Cade holds a PhD in Organizational Development and Leadership, a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Finance from Avila University, and is a graduate of Harvard's Kennedy School of Business.
