Araceli Palafox

Araceli Palafox is the senior program director of policy for Enterprise's Southern California Market. Araceli leads the development and implementation of our policy agenda to advance affordable housing policy priorities around production and preservation, homelessness, capital solutions, climate resilience, advancing racial equity, and other coalition-building efforts.
 
Araceli has spent her professional career supporting community leaders and multi-sector collaboratives in building, scaling, and delivering results in housing, community development, and regional economic development. Before joining Enterprise, she served as the director of programs for California Forward, where she led and managed large-scale state initiatives, including the State's CA Dream for All Homeownership program.

As a first-generation daughter of immigrants, a woman of color, and a mother, her professional career is driven by a deep commitment to building just, equitable, and thriving communities. Araceli holds a master's degree in public policy from the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree in political science and Chicano Studies from Loyola Marymount University.
