Marlene Salazar

Marlene Salazar is a program manager on Enterprise's Northern California team, where she leads programmatic and technical assistance efforts for the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) Program, a flagship State of California initiative that funds integrated housing and transportation investments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and advance equitable, sustainable communities.

In this role, Marlene has helped secure more than $741 million in funding for affordable housing and transportation projects in the Bay Area, resulting in over 2,200 affordable homes and a reduction of more than 770,000 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions.

Marlene holds a master's degree in urban and regional planning from the University of California, Los Angeles, where her studies focused on inclusive community engagement and economic development, and a bachelor's degree in environmental studies and history from Pitzer College.
