Collection: Housing That Lasts

In December 2025, the Colorado Affordable Housing Preservation Summit brought together 120 leaders from nonprofits, public agencies, development firms, financial institutions, foundations, and policymaking bodies—all united around a common goal: preserving the affordable homes we already have.

Co-hosted by Enterprise and Colorado Housing and Finance Authority at the University of Denver, the summit featured speakers and panels exploring what's at stake, what's working, and what's possible. Attendees learned from emerging successes in communities from Ouray County to Eagle to Denver's East Colfax Corridor, heard from CHFA's Thomas Bryan about the state's affordability gap, and gained insights from preservation leaders in Chicago, Utah, Atlanta, and Minnesota.
