In partnership with the City of Seattle Office of Housing, Enterprise is pleased to announce the availability of $1.75 million in funding, distributed through grants of up to $250,000 per organization, to offset eligible predevelopment and capacity building expenses. This program is an additional element of the Payroll Expense Tax (PET) Community Self-Determination Fund Program, as described in the City of Seattle Office of Housing 2024-2026 Housing Funding Policies pages 64-67. Some of the objectives of the PET Community Self-Determination Fund Programs include supporting Community-Based Organizations new to housing development and reducing barriers to those who have traditionally been excluded; redressing past harms in communities that have been disproportionately negatively impacted by discriminatory housing practices; and enabling more community-driven projects realized by communities living with the impacts of displacement.

This opportunity is reserved for Community-Based Organizations and Community Development Corporations located in Seattle, with a documented organizational mission and/or Board intent to provide, preserve, and/or steward housing affordable to low-income households.

In addition to receiving a reimbursement-based grant, awardees will engage in a 6-month program of customized technical assistance and training.
