Shelby O'Neill

Shelby O’Neill serves as program director for Building Resilient Futures at Enterprise Community Partners. Since joining Enterprise in 2016, Shelby’s work has centered on supporting affordable housing partners in their pursuit to meet green building goals and certify to Enterprise Green Communities, the country’s only national green building program designed by and for the affordable housing sector. Shelby oversees Green Communities certification, ensuring the program’s commitment to excellence and on moving the best practices in design and construction of quality, sustainable homes to normal practices.

Prior to her career at Enterprise, Shelby practiced commercial and residential architecture and design in Washington, DC and worked in environmental conservation. Shelby holds a master of architecture from the Catholic University School of Architecture and Planning in Washington, DC and a bachelor of science in political science and sociology from James Madison University in Virginia.
