Ruby Harris has recently joined our Southern California Solutions team as senior director, Capital Solutions and Partnerships.
In her role, Ruby will lead local market efforts to deliver our entire capital platform to support partners, including the New Generation Fund and other capital tools. She will also lead the creation and execution of strategic plans for local programming of Equitable Path Forward, and other housing production and preservation programs and initiatives.
Ruby joins Enterprise with 22 years of experience in the community development field. With an emphasis in affordable housing and other community-based real estate strategies, her experience ranges from nonprofit management, program/product design, project management, public policy and finance and grantmaking.
Prior to Enterprise, Ruby was interim director of the regional CDFI Real Estate Solutions at Community Vision where she managed real estate advisory and grantmaking efforts and created a cohort-based education program for developers of color. Ruby has also served at co-director of lending, managing and deploying Community Vision’s $70 million loan fund and was the program manager for the city of San Francisco’s Small Sites Program where she designed and implemented the $100 million fund to preserve hundreds of housing units throughout the city.
Ruby holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in Ethnic Studies and City and Regional Planning.
